DESCRIPTION:About: As an extension to our new Cocktail Experience, Discovery Sessions will be taking one-off monthly deep-dives into a select number of the world’s most famous mixed drinks through a variety of themes.\nTour Details: In the world of mixed drinks the 1920s are often viewed as a troubled period with the Prohibition of alcohol affecting the United States and parts of Canada, however the global spread of the American Bar and economic prosperity following World War I paints a different picture. Along with social, artistic and cultural change a host of drinks such as the Corpse Reveiver #2, Old Pal, Bee’s Knees, French 75, Southside Fizz, Aviation and Hanky Panky all stemmed from the decade; making it one that should be celebrated. The session will be hosted by our founder Adam Elan-Elmegirab; author of the ‘Book of Bitters’ and ‘How to Fix the Perfect Cocktail’ and formerly a multi-award winning bartender, UK Bartender of the Year Finalist, and judge for the ‘World’s 50 Best Bar Awards’, ‘Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards’ and ‘The Great British Food Awards’.\nThe Small Print: Over 18s only.
