Launched in June 2020, Pietro Nicola Pescaro is the third offering from our range of Aperitivi & Digestivo; jointly inspired by vintage bottlings of British-style Peach Bitters we obtained in 2010 and the fortified & aromatised wines that are adored in Italy.
Unlike the concentrated American-style bitters we produce under the Dr. Adam’s banner, original British Peach Bitters were a type of fortified & aromatised wine that haven’t been produced in the UK for almost half a century. For our interpretation we’ve reimagined our bottling for the modern palate, largely inspired by the growth of Italian drinking culture across the world.
Taking its name from the Italian words for peach (pesca) and bitter (amaro), our Pescaro is manufactured by aromatising English peach wine with eight herbs, spices, citrus fruits and flowers, two bittering agents, and fortifying with a proprietary botanical spirit we craft at The House of Botanicals.
We believe it is best enjoyed chilled, over ice, or in variants of Cocktails, Highballs and Spritzes, though we do always suggest you share it with your nearest and dearest.
