Discovery Sessions (Aberdeen Drinks Museum)
About: As an extension to our new Cocktail Experience, Discovery Sessions will be taking one-off monthly deep-dives into a select number of the world’s most famous mixed drinks through a variety of themes.
Tour Details: Though the production of spirits in Aberdeen was revived by ourselves in 2009, our hometown has an incredible history in the world of drinks including having Scotland’s oldest-known record of potable whisky production from 1505, being the founding home of brands such as Chivas Regal, Black Bottle and Watson’s Rum, having a trading port with the likes of Genever, Brandy imported by merchants such as John Begg, and once housing ten distilleries in the city centre. We believe this should be brought to life in the form of a Drinks Museum linking and showcasing its brewing, distilling and maritime history. Sessions will be hosted by our founder Adam Elan-Elmegirab, author of the ‘Book of Bitters’ and ‘How to Fix the Perfect Cocktail’, and formerly a multi-award winning bartender, UK Bartender of the Year Finalist, and judge for the ‘World’s 50 Best Bar Awards’ and ‘Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards’.
The Small Print: Over 18s only. Groups of no more than ten*. Advance purchase only. Please note: Voucher price includes a 70cl or 50cl bottle from our core range Gins or Aperitivi & Digestivo. This can be collected on the day or on a date following the tasting.

Cancellations: Upon cancellation of a booked event, bottles will be made available for collection and all confirmed bookings will be non-transferable or refundable.
