Discovery Sessions (Acceptable in the 80s)

About: As an extension to our new Cocktail Experience, Discovery Sessions will be taking one-off monthly deep-dives into a select number of the world’s most famous mixed drinks through a variety of themes.

Tour Details: The 1980s were largely a regrettable period for cocktail culture however when you look beyond the sexual innuendos, neon liqueurs and powdered sour mixes there’s a host of recipes such as the Long Island Iced Tea, Grasshopper, Between the Sheets and Amaretto Sour that should be revisited, and let’s not forget the iconic Dick Bradsell and Dale Degroff who kept the flag flying during the decade. The session will be hosted by our founder Adam Elan-Elmegirab; author of the ‘Book of Bitters’ and ‘How to Fix the Perfect Cocktail’ and formerly a multi-award winning bartender, UK Bartender of the Year Finalist, and judge for the ‘World’s 50 Best Bar Awards’, ‘Tales of the Cocktail’s Spirited Awards’ and ‘The Great British Food Awards’.

The Small Print: Over 18s only. Groups of no more than ten*. Advance purchase only. Please note: Voucher price includes a 70cl or 50cl bottle from our core range Gins or Aperitivi & Digestivo. This can be collected on the day or on a date following the tasting.

Cancellations: Upon cancellation of a booked event, bottles will be made available for collection and all confirmed bookings will be non-transferable or refundable.
