For 2023 The House of Botanicals will be hosting our Art of the Aperitivo sessions.

PIETRO NICOLA

Sharing its name with our founder’s Italian grandmother, Pietro Nicola is an Italian inspired range of Aperitivi & Digestivo and the third brand of spirits from The House of Botanicals.

A celebration of aperitivo culture, the range comprises an annual vintage green walnut liqueur, peach aperitif wine, barrel-rested coffee spirit and Amalfi lemon liqueur, with each product utilising raw materials from the UK, Italy and North Africa; the regions where our founder’s family originate.

THE ART OF THE APERITIVO

The Art of the Aperitivo celebrates the Italian Aperitivo hour; a tradition of winding down with friends and family in the early evening, and enjoying delicious drinks and light bites.

Our Art of the Aperitivo session demonstrates why our portfolio of Gin, Cocktail Bitters and Aperitivi & Digestivo are crucial parts of the culture, showcasing not just how we make our spirits but the food and drinks to best enjoy them.

SESSION DETAILS

Following an arrival drink and welcome in our tasting room, The Library, attendees will be shown around our production floor before returning to The Library for a vertical tasting of the Pietro Nicola range with accompanying aperitivo style cocktails and light bites. Tickets include a 50cl bottle of Nocino, Pescaro, Caffè Margaux or Limoncello.

Seating groups of no more than 10 people, our sessions will operate on Friday 29th and Saturday 30th September, then on Wednesday 4th through to Saturday 7th October

THE DRINKS

Each session will highlight an array of Italian mixed drinks such as the Negroni, Spritz, Americano, Gin & It, Garibaldi, Sgroppino, Milano-Torino, Sbagliato, Cardinale and more…
